Track PAN Card Status Without Acknowledgement Number
There are three methods to track your PAN card status without the acknowledgement number:
1. Through Name and Date of Birth on NSDL Website

Step 2: Enter your name as shown on your PAN application (First Name, Middle Name, and Last Name/Surname). Applicants other than ‘Individuals’ should enter their name only in the Last Name/Surname section.

2. Through Coupon Number on UTI Portal
- Visit the UTIITSL website and navigate to the ‘Track Your PAN Card Application Status Page (https://www.trackpan.utiitsl.com/PANONLINE/#forward)'.
- Enter your 10-character PAN number or coupon number.
- Enter your date of birth.
- Enter the captcha code and click 'Submit.'
3. Through PAN Number on UTI Portal
- Visit UTIITSL at: https://www.pan.utiitsl.com/PAN_ONLINE/ePANCard
- Enter your PAN card number and date of birth in the ‘MM/YYYY’ format. If you have a GSTIN, enter it as well. Then, input the captcha code and click submit.
- Your registered mobile number and email address will be shown on the next page. Verify the details, enter OTP, and click 'Generate OTP'.
- Enter the OTP and complete payment. After payment, you can download your e-PAN card.
- To apply for e-PAN through the UTIITSL website, you must have previously applied for a PAN or had the latest one corrected with UTIITSL. You also need an active phone number registered with the Income Tax Department.
4. Via SMS
Protean eGov Technologies Limited manages PAN and TAN applications for the Income Tax Department. They offer an SMS service to keep users updated. To track your PAN status, send an SMS with the phrase 'PAN' followed by a space and the 15-digit acknowledgement number, i.e., PAN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT NUMBER (e.g., PAN 233325125542885) to 3030.
