Aadhar Card Update and Correction

Aadhaar Card

The Aadhaar number is a unique 12-digit identifier issued by UIDAI (“Authority”) to the residents of India who have completed the Authority’s verification process. Any Indian resident, regardless of age or gender, is eligible to enroll and receive an Aadhaar number. The Aadhaar card is also necessary to access government subsidies and benefits. However, to prevent delays, the Aadhaar card must be kept up to date.

The primary purpose of updating Aadhaar is to prevent identity fraud and ensure the information is verifiable and authentic. Individuals can update important details such as their name, address, gender, and date of birth by modifying their Aadhaar card information. Here’s everything you need to know about the Aadhaar update process.
