How to Link Aadhar to Ration Card?

Aadhaar Card

A ration card is a vital government-issued document that ensures access to subsidized food, grains, and fuel. Introduced more than 50 years ago, it remains widely used in India. One individual cannot possess more than one ration card. To prevent duplicate cards, the government has made it mandatory to link Aadhaar with the ration card.

Besides providing food grains at subsidized rates, the ration card serves as a crucial identification proof and can be connected to the government database. It is categorized into three types: Antyodaya, Below Poverty Line (BPL), and Above Poverty Line (APL).
